Let me guess; you used the Mac transfer application to set up your new computer from your old one? THis happened to me too. You will have to trash your Finale preferences. Rebuilding them is a bit of a pain, but you will get all your palettes and windows back. Christopher On

I had reported to this list a number of problems that I had with the Finale update. (Crash-on-quit, HP problems, crash-on-playback etc.) For some reason, the updater had not installed all of the new files in the right place and so I wasn't getting the proper update. I have my Finale app a few
