Hi Johannes, The problems are relatively minor. Older Finale versions crash on quit, and sometimes the OK and Cancel buttons don't respond to mouseclicks and you have to use the keyboard shortcuts instead. Other than that, they work fine. Cheers, - Darcy - [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I think it must be a matter of mindset. I can plug along at a moderate rate on my laptop using simple but am still much faster with speedy with midi. My son who is graduating from college this year can work as fast or maybe faster using simple as I can using speedy, even with the limitations of

But Sibelius does not work with Smartmusic. And they do not offer anything like it...as far as I know. Back on topic...makemusic did increase the price of a Smartmusic subscription, but as the library of songs keeps going, it is totally worth it (even though it has a klunky interface).
