Last fall I did an interview for CBC radio, for wh. they've been
trying to send me an honorarium. Problem is, they insist on sending me
payment in $CAN, and drawn on the Canadian central bank. American
banks however charge an arm and a leg to convert foreign currency to

You can write in English, as most of the people there speak and/or
read-write it moderately well. As for email, try going to the library
online and looking around (I can't at the moment, as I'm writing this
with some difficulty on an iPhone) and I'm sure you'll find something.
