I would say that you are correct, but as a horn player, I always
appreciate a written note clarifying the use of bass clef. It's easy
to include and it removes any doubt.

Hi Darcy,
Thanks, I could put my wired keyboard atop my midi keyboard - never
thought of that as a helpful configuration, but it might make reaching
the necessary combinations work more easily sometimes. The Apple
aluminum keyboard is certainly small enough to do that.

Hi Chuck,
Thanks, that is very helpful!
If you already have a wired Apple Extended Keyboard and are generally happy
with it, there is no need to switch.
I need a wireless keyboard because when working with Finale, I put it (and my
mouse) on top of my MIDI keyboard. I also have an external disp
Hi Darcy,
I used to have the wired version of this keyboard, which I liked at
least as much as the new Apple aluminum one I'm using now (still have
it, if anyone wants it), so I can vouch for the feel and general
reliability. No experience with the Bluetooth version. I will be

Hi all,
Tragedy has struck and the "Enter" key on my old-school (white) Apple Wireless
Keyboard has died.
Apple no longer makes a wireless keyboard with a numpad (and hasn't for several
years). The new ones only have a laptop-style keyboard.
The Apple Extended Keyboard has a numpad, but that o

Periodically I go back through the tutorials and and am surprised to

That might help.

You need to specify the title in the File Info dialog.
You also need to ensure that the part names that appear in the Manage Parts
dialog are the part names you want.

It doesn't seem to happen in 2010a. Otherwise restarting Finale with
"show staff style" turned off may provide a temporary relief.
