In any recent version of Finale, you'll find the location of the
plug-ins folder in the Program Options dialog box (the Folders page).

versions. It took me a little while to get used to the staff

it isn't unlinkable, it isn't linked at all, unless you do NOT apply
music spacing on your parts. this is certainly useful in some
proportionally spaced works but pretty much everyone doing parts will
apply music spacing in the generated parts.
