Does function+down arrow work?
I've got a MacBook Pro, and typing function+down arrow on the laptop keyboard
generally mimics the page down key on a full keyboard.

I accidentally deleted a page number on a TERRIBLY HARD score, and all the
page numbers disappeared. Agghh. And I can't find a way to get them
back.

Just a page number in a text box? Can't you just re-create a new text box
with page numbers? Or is it more complicated than that?

Hi Linda,
Have you tried deleting and re-creating the entire number range in the measure
tool menu? I would try that.

To create page numbers:
Click on the text tool. Click on the approximate place you want a page
number, then click on Text / Inserts / Page number. The page number will
appear. Highlight it and under the same text menu you can edit page
offset if the page numbers you want to display is different

I read the subject line and saw measure number panic then saw answers related
to the question in the body of the message and realized I had attempted an
answer to a different question. If it is page numbers that are the problem,
then it does sound as if you have deleted a text box with
I wrote measure number when I neabt Page number. (Never work on a
Finale ms. for 12 hours straight or you can't even think straight.)
Sorry all who helped. Actually a couple of you figured my glitch out and
helped and I fixed it.
