As far as I know there is no way of doing that in Finale, but you
could change the monitor's resolution to make everything bigger. I

I don’t know if this topic has come up. I have prepared a set of pieces for
orchestra that I want to make available as Print on Demand. In light of the
proliferation of printers that only handle business size paper, what do you do

When changing clef and time signature in the same measure the clef is
automatically placed after the key signature. Is there any way to have it

Lots of people don't seem to understand that the size of the PDF and the size
that you actually print it at don't have to be the same. I routinely create
PDFs at 8.5x11 and print them at 10x13, for example, which MOLA would adore. If

As far as my band is concerned, if it can't be printed in 8 1/2 x 11 format, it
doesn't exist.
That said, it has led to charts that feature print so small it is very
difficult to sight-read.
This is particularly true of the director's full score. He has learned to live

As a non-professional sometime engraver, I just happened to review the MOLA
standards. The wide availability of computer programs such as Finale have made
it possible for directors and arrangers to make changes in a score and have
them printed locally. I have to conclude that MOLA is out of
Yes I do believe I’m on board and am glad not to be stressing about this any
longer. It does appear, as you mentioned in your other email, that MOLA will
probably have to review their standards. I had wondered, before posting my
question, if the MOLA standards are basically outdated given the
