The best way (as someone else has already suggested) to put what appears to be a mid-measure repeat is to break the existing measure into 2 measures with the appropriate time signature for each section, choosing the option to have a different signature for display set to the overall time

Hi Joao, in general I would recommend to assume that the fan files are not compatible. There may be compatibilities between some Finale versions, but it's difficult to predict and may also depend on the coding of the font or usage in MacSymbolFonts.txt. Especially if you are working

I’ve done this occasionally, and the only way I’ve been able to achieve it is my creating a measure expression and placing it in the file. If it’s a score with multiple staves, use an expression set for All Staves. It’s a bit of a kludge, but it does work. *** J D

Dear list, when trying to manage fan files using several finale versions simultaneously, I prepared a common folder for my fan files and set the programs accordingly. But, I notice that sometimes, there are incompatibilities with some (?) notehad symbols - and articulations and ties move
