As chord symbols? I can't think of a polychord that couldn't be
reinterpreted as an extended chord (13th or whatever). Things could be
dicey if you had both major and m
triads
between them, so they were timbrally separated. Otherwise, they aren't
really polychords, but extended tertian structures (not that there's
anything wrong with that...)

I had a similar but different problem with 2014.5 and OS10.11: th
machine wouldn't remember MIDI mappings. If I had to shut down (which I
did frequently given that I was running an 8 yo MAC), I'd get the rests
too. All I had to do was "rescan MISI" and it was fine, but it was very
inconvenient.

Here's what it's doing:
When I drag the horizontal scroll bar, it "bounces back" a certain
distance. When my cursor is in blank space, the window contents will
move all by themselves. When I select a measure in Speedy, it will jump
to another measure.

Alas, I turned all that stuff off, rebooted the computer, and...no
change. Thanks anyway.

I tried turning things off in the mouse settings to no avail. But using
a corded mouse solved the problem. I'll hassle with the Magic Mouse
later (which is kind of nice.)

I think context is the key here. Remember that you're dealing with
natural horns.
First, if there is no clef, assume treble, because that would be the
most usual clef, esp. if the writing is at all conjunct, Bass is not
impossible, for low notes, but not likely. Next, assume that the horns
