The big advantage of 64-bit is access to more RAM. In 32-bit Windows,
6GBs of RAM is a waste of money, as it's not even going to be able to

The real answer is "it all depends."
64-bit processors can do things faster, if the applications are true
64-bit applications. But for

I think the issue is that there is still not an official release of a
64-bit Flash plugin, just a preview release:

I have a brand new PC with Windows 7 64-bit installed. Finale runs fine,
although I haven't used it much yet; Flash also seems OK, although I did
have to download a couple of updates before it settled down. It now works
fine, as far as I can tell.
Just my 2 cents.

I don't know who said 64-bit Windows does not support Flash. It's
simply not true. Absolute balderdash.

This is simply not true.
At one time it was a half truth, but it has never been an actual true
statement.
The situation is this:

Thanks for any help you can give me
is really GREAT. I haven't tried to see if a 64-bit player is available w/2010
as I already had GPO4 and JABB3.
The 64-bit ARIA player seems to semi-auto make the assignment of resources to
CPU and/or RAM.
Anyhow, it sounds great. I now eagerly await COMB2;-)
