I haven't tried it in 2k6, but in earlier versions the default file
names used for the wizard were hardwired, and you could rename them.
I am pretty sure this is still the case.

violins are all listed with roman numerals. The violoncello is listed
as simply cello but I suppose you could edit those files (probably
best to make copies first in case you need to revert) and edit that.

I also us a default file but I have never named it the same thing as
one of the MM default docs.
Here's how I made it work:
1) Put your default file in the 2006 Components File and name it
something other than a Finale name i.e. Perhaps JG Default.
2) Highlight the file name
