Hi Chuck, Owain's most brilliant answer is they way to go in my opinion as far as changing the note heads to Chord Sym!~ (that's a new one for me! Thanks Owain!) If you still want to fix your stem connection on the Maestro font: Go back to Stem Connections Click on Create Click on Set

Thanks all, Owain's system works, but Karen's was what I had forgotten - just to click the create button. This kind of thing is not at all obvious in the way the interface is designed, so it makes it hard to remember where things are hidden. Problem solved. Thanks again, Chuck On
