Michael,
I’ve had this problem for a few years, across the last couple of Mac OS’s and
versions of Finale. I thought it was better, but I was bit by it a few days ago.
I’m afraid traveling right now, so I don’t have access to give more
particulars. But I at least wanted to chime in. It’s what I
Dear List,
I love the TG Tools Fit Measures feature; I hate having to set up all the
systems nicely and neatly one by one, as it is time consuming. However, I am
continually running into a glitch where when I tell it the number of systems to
set up the music in, it will jam EXTRA measures, baf
Patterson Plugins works on 2014, so far as I know, and I have done some
testing with it.

How about your plug-ins Robert? They are essential to my workflow. Will
you be updating them for 2014 or are they good to go on the mac.

There is always the option of a hybrid approach. To the extent that I will
adopt Fin14 at all it will be to work on parts, at least until TGTools or
its equivalent is available. In this scenario I would develop the entire
score in Fin12, then upgrade the file when it is time to work on parts.
But

Thank you David for this update, I missed Jari's specifications about TGTools
on Finale2014.
I used to rely on TGTools' spacing plugins; hope they'll be back soon.

I downloaded the TG tools package and put it in the Finale 2014 -> Contents
Folder -> Plugins Folder, restarted but nothing happened, can't see the TG
tools on the menu.
Has anyone tried this, or am I going wrong somehow.

Yeah, I don't think it's actually a bug, as TG Tools smart explosion is
supposed to deal with rests (gets rid of whole rests when only one part plays,
for example) and isn't supposed to put articulations on rests (imagine
staccatos and accents all over your rests!)
Rests with fermatas (and caes
I have noticed an unfortunate bug in the TG Tools smart explosion of
multi-part staves; when one extracts these parts, the fermatas over bars of
rests as well as the manually entered whole rests, themselves, seem to
disappear. This is particularly problematic in transcribing Bel canto opera
Am I correct that TG Tools Shift Accidentals is broken in 2011? If I am right,
please write Tobias and ask that he fix this.

Hi David,
2.60 is what I am using, and it works in 2011 (It has had some adjustments by
Tobias). For whatever reason, there is no more recent version number. Never
mind. It works.

Does anyone know about the full TG Tools for FinMac (or Win) 2011?
Tobias usually has something for us by now.
Has anyone gotten any part of the full TG Tools (not the free Finale-
supplied ones) to work in any way with 2011?
I forgot how much I've come to rely on them -- especially in the
Tobias has not yet updated this PI to work with the new expression
