There is always the option of a hybrid approach. To the extent that I will adopt Fin14 at all it will be to work on parts, at least until TGTools or its equivalent is available. In this scenario I would develop the entire score in Fin12, then upgrade the file when it is time to work on parts. But

Yeah, I don't think it's actually a bug, as TG Tools smart explosion is supposed to deal with rests (gets rid of whole rests when only one part plays, for example) and isn't supposed to put articulations on rests (imagine staccatos and accents all over your rests!) Rests with fermatas (and caes
