Can anyone on the list reproduce this, or is it just me?
Speedy entry. Eighth note pickup measure has the dotted rhythm: dotted
16th-32nd.
When I dot the 16th, the cursor jumps to the next measure!
Not a _major_ problem, as I _can_ put the cursor back in the pickup measure and
complete

It happens in FinWin2007 for all such pickup measures (dotted
eighth-sixteenth in quarter pickup, etc).

Alternate work-around suggestion: Enter the notation for the pick-up
measure first, then change the meter signature. to the final result.

Finale's official pickup measure method has always been buggy. I never use it
and it's not needed. Just use a regular measure set to Display as the same
time sig as the first complete measure, and begin measure numbering in m.2.

That may work for the first measure...my problem always comes at the repeat and
getting playback to work correctly.
