Your "make" is the wrong one. It is bsdmake instead of the standard

I am trying to update librep-0.14.7 which also requires librep-dev and
librep-shlib. When Fink is trying to install librep-shlib, I encounter an

-shlib are? Libraries seem to come in trios, like librep, librep-dev and
librep-shlib.
