first build attempt of maxwell? What is meant by the error can't

Do you have anything in /usr/local/lib, like a libintl*.dylib or a
libiconv*.dylib?

Hi there,
After having seemingly updated all of my mirrors, allowing unstable
packages and scouring the FAQ, I can't seem to get fink or apt-get to
install g77; I keep getting a no package found error, despite it's right
there on the package list on the website.
I'm on Mac OSX Darwin.
Thanks!

It doesn't look like it. You're showing the 0.8.0 distribution, and the
latest is 0.8.1 .

Hi -
I've recently updated to the latest version of fink and fink commander. After
some sticking points fink selfupdate finally works, but when I try update-all
the process tanks on g77.
I've also tried reinstalling the latest version of Xcode tools (2.2.1?), but
that didn't seem to help.
Great, thanks for the reassurance.
Best,
