[Fink-beginners] X-windows/Panther install problems (and I did read FAQ 8.11)

and X11SDK.pkg from the XTools CD. After all this I reran "fink-virtual-pkgs", but still didn't see a system-xfree86 entry. And my attempts to install emacs21 still prompt for the xfree86 and xfree86-shlibs packages. Any ideas? What else can I look at? H
