I used Fink to install AbiWord 2.0.6. It only installed "chalkboard"
font. I'd like to have a few more to choose from.
KWord has bunches of fonts so they must be somewhere on my drive.
Can someone tell me how to tell AbiWord where to find additional fonts?

A friend gave me a CD of several files to convert to text.
Unfortunately, they are scanned image files, each with many pages.
I've tried a number of Mac and windoze programs but still end up with a
graphic of the text. Is there a "reasonably" easy way to get these

the archives. I use a TiBook and Panther and have the latest Fink &
KDE loaded. All works fine (except KMail) but I've lost the ability to
resize or move windows. Most applications (KDE) open in the middle of
the screen
