breathe :-)
Are there other large files or folders inside of /sw that I could also
delete without danger?
Thanks Markus

Hello,
I am continuing to rebuild the fink programs, i had running with
Jaguar, and currently I'm working on GNUCash.
It depends on gnumeric. when trying to install that package I get the

Hello,
My problem is that XFree86 isn't willing to start on my box for some
time (2 months) now.
I reported some of the error-messages i got. Thanx to all who replied
but none of the hints i got here improved my situation.
I'm running Mac OS X 10.3.2
I was frustrated an didn't touch anything
ill my other packages be affected by this (most
important: kde-base, 3.1.4-21, GNUCash 1.8.8-11)

Hello folks,
I just replaced Apple's X11 package with this one on Panther because I
wanted to get back to my clean Root-Display, which I really enjoyed on
Jaguar.
After deleting the directories etc/x11 and usr/bin/x11r6 and installing
the fink-package, i gave it a try and got the following
Hi folks..
I posted recently about problems while installing GnuCash on my
Panther-System..
Meanwhile i've installed every package GnuCash depends on seperately,
except doxygen and graphviz.
The "graphviz"-Package seems to be the problem now, if I try to install
it I get the following:

Is anyone out there who can tell me what went wrong here?
I'm not sure where the error begins and hope this log excerpt is long

have guessed that ;-)
But that leads me to the next question:
How can I tell XDarwin to adopt changed screen-settings?
Did you try running the Console utility and see if there's an error
message?

Hi folks
My fink-x11 distribution seems to be broken.
A few days ago my machine did not respond.
I had to switch off my Mac (as I was prompted by the system).
I thought blue-screens could only appear on windows but this one was
something like that, if you know what I mean...

Hi folks!
mplayer runs on my machine, but it doesn't display properly. I Se one
empty (black) window in KDE-Style and one "black box" without
window-decoration, which seems to be the main window of mplayer.
The black box responds to Mouse-clicks. I am able to see the

I have now installed python23 without the ssl-Option.
Installation ran fine now, without errors.
I just hope that gnucash doesn't need ssl here, the ".info"-file doesn't "python23-socket-ssl"
... GNUCash installation is now in progress.
Let's see if it works now...
OK gnucash is installed.

Sounds OK. If you get another circular deps error, post it.
It does indeed look like you removed the relevant information. Try
installing kmud again, but don't do the suggestion (probably apt-get

install). Instead, post the error message that you get.
