I was finally able to make this work. I searched google for "fink java detection" to see if I could figure out what was going on from the source and stumbled upon this post - http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=29647282 I followed posted suggestion and installed "Java for OS X 2

This likely stems from Apple dropping their own JDK/JRE release in favor of using Oracle's. As such the packages are a bit different. On my system there is only the link from Current to A in /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions As such I'm guessing the Java version detection f
