I'd typed "fink update-all" and it was updating several packages.

I was getting the same problem. Here is my result of 'fink list gtkhtml':
[homer:~] brianwen% fink list gtkhtml
unknown terminal "network"
Information about 2126 packages read in 3 seconds.
i gtkhtml 1.0.2-4 HTML rendering/printing/editing engine
i gtkhtml-dev 1.0.2-4
What I've tried is to remove gtkhtml:
sudo dpkg -r --force-depends gtkhtml
and install gtkhtml1.1. A drawback to this is that there are a few
packages that want the gtkhtml package, specifically. The developers do
know about this, so expect new versions to come out soon.
