prebinding warnings in my logs.
My logs filling up with clutter doesn't bother me so much as wondering
how much cpu time is wasted every time "ls" is execut

They are not errors, they are warnings and are harmless.
We are working on a scheme to attempt to prebind all of fink's dynamic

me that a Fink package of Sawfish for Gnome2 is not yet ready. I read that
version 1.1 of Sawfish offers Gnome2 support. That is the version t
Paul,
even if you don't understand our remark, why don't you just try it
and use the very latest CVS of Fink. Or go back to an officially
sanctioned version like 0.11.0. Then ncurses will compile just fine.
FYI, the problem you described was occuring for a couple of days in
CVS due to some ex

The error you describe occurs if -no-cpp-precomp is set in CPPFLAGS.
What version of fink are you trying to install? 0.11.0 or CVS?
Package manager version: 0.11.0.cvs
Distribution version: 0.4.9.cvs

perfect that seems to have fix it, I'll put a version depends on
it..thanks msek.
