Hi Alex, I've been hoping they would release 2.4 for a very long time now, but apparently not... By the way by the way, "INSTALL" file of the gimp 2.3.7 says: 2. You need to have installed GTK+ version 2.8.x or newer. Do not try to use an older GTK+ version (1.2.x), it will not work.
