Does that workaround written in the webpage fix the
problem on 10.6/64bit in your env? i.e.,
SetCC: gcc-4.0
SetCXX: g++-4.0
and add the following line before mkdir texlive/Work.
export SDK_ROOT=/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.5.sdk/
