Oscar,
I experienced that too and I think that means you don't have
enough memory to either sniff more packets or open a capture
file that is too large. I always close other applications I don't need and
by doing that I could
always avoid ethereal crash.
I guess ethereal uses mostly physical m

I did a clean install of fink at about the same time as I installed the
April Dev tools, and I had build problems with packages that never had any
issues before. I'm in the process of uninstalling the April Tools and
reverting to the December ones to see whether the same failures occur.

What is the word on the April Developer Tools? I downloaded the beta
version, but am not sure whether I should start using them or not.
Do the Fink developers want users to try the new tools and provide
feedback on whether they cause grief or not? Or, do you want us to
hold off until you've

Sorry, but I can't reproduce this problem. I though at first it might
have something to do with libsigc++ being installed, but that turned out
not to be the case. It appears that libtool is misbehaving, but I don't
know why.

Dear David,
Nice to see a familiar name!
I have tex; it was installed via a Mac OS X installer pkg...not
fink. In fact I seem to only have the version of install-info that came
with the tex distribution. My PATH is
/usr/local/teTeX/bin/powerpc-apple-darwin5.3/:/sw/bin:/sw/sbin:/
Hi Charlie.
Has everything you mentioned been installed by fink? Do you have TeX
installed, and how was it installed? And what is your PATH?
(Diagnostic questions... trying to figure out what is up...)

Steven & Mathias,
No problems with the binary on my G4 running 10.1.4. No crashes after

that didn't happen doing it manually too (my cvs has some probs),
anyways ;-)
I think FinkCommander should be added to the packages av

gnustep.org i got as far as gnustep-gui-0.7.6. this breaks with the

Thanks Martin! I never would have thought of that. This fix is included
in abiword-1.0.1-1, now in CVS. Hopefully, abiword will at least now
launch for everyone.
