What happened is that something got changed on the offending files (owner?) and fink won't remove it. You can go ahead and remove manually any of the offending .info or .patch files and do the selfupdate-cvs again. Fink should then create files with the correct owner/permissions. On Monday

This is a know problem with the latest versions of scilab and tcltk-8.3.4. You can either 1) downgrade to tcltk-8.3.3, or 2) get the new revisions of scilab/scilab-atlas from unstable cvs which have tcltk support disabled. This problem should be fixed with next release of Xfree86. At that time,
