My bad:
-lcc_dynamic -Wl,-framework -Wl,vecLib
appears to make it work.
Thanks.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it but I just upgraded to
10.2.8. (Everything else seems to be working great under 10.2.8, I knew
it was probably too good to be true ;) I'm not even sure if this update
touched gcc (it's currently v3.1)
No, it didn't.

Hi,
Sorry for the miss-information. I wasn't aware that the 'as' package is
no longer needed. Wouldn't it be wise to pull this package or at least
to modify the info, which still reads Needed for g77, Apple provided
as is broken by Dec2002 Dev Tools update?
Thanks a
I'm trying to install gnuplot from source but can't download pdflib.
Any suggestions?
Thank, ...Peter
The following package will be installed or updated:
gnuplot
The following 17 additional packages will be installed:
aquaterm dlcompat dlcompat-dev dlcompat-shlibs libjpeg libjpeg-bin
Do you have /sw/include/libintl.h? It should have been installed by
the gettext-dev package.
Well this is interesting. I had libintl.h as of the last time locate
ran:
[/sw/src] root# locate libintl.h
/sw/include/libintl.h
However it's not there now:
[/sw/src] root# ls -l /sw/include/libintl.h
My understanding (which is rudimentary) is that the update is the
August 2003 patch that updates to gcc 3.3, which caused problems for
fortran compilers, including g77 3.1
BTW is there a way to globally specify -lcc_dynamic for g77 3.4? All
my fortran packages in fink are now breaking all
Hello!
Just started an fink update-all and i am getting this error:
checking for ucd-snmp/ucd-snmp-config.h... yes
checking for sprint_realloc_objid in -lsnmp... no
checking for sprint_realloc_objid in -lsnmp... no
checking for sprint_realloc_objid in -lsnmp... (cached) no
configure: error: UCD
Well you can disregard the last message. The gettext-dev on my
system was out of date and when I upgraded it the magic libintl.h
file showed up.
So somehow in doing the selfupdate yesterday, something happened such
that libintl.h was taken away and then by updating the gettext-dev
again it
I am trying to install Nmap using FinkCommander and this is the error I am
getting:
Reading Package Lists...
Building Dependency Tree...
You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
ghostscript: Depends: x11
E: Unmet

Either do selfupdate-cvs and install pdflib-5.0.1, or get the sources
for the old version from the master mirror at

You are correct. It causes problems for g77 = 3.3, but not 3.4.
