I can't compile inkscape 0.40-1. I've been religiously moving /usr/local/ out of the way during compiles for several months, since I discovered that .debs I made on my main Mac weren't working on my PowerBook, as it had less stuff in /usr/local. Obviously some package that inkscape depends on
