I am doing a long overdue fink update-all, but I can't seem to go past
KDE. The update got stuck twice on kde3base and kdepi3-ioslaves due to
dependency problems. Both times I was able (as fink suggests) to build

Remove /opt/local/bin from your path and unset DYLD_LIBR
