I am having the same Problem on 10.4.1 and postgresql80-ssl-8.0.3-22.

I've downloaded and tried FinkCommander 0.5.4. It crashes just after
launching it. 0.5.3 on the same Mac with Mac OS X 10.3.9 still works fine.

Since around that time, when I do fink selfupdate I get the

and that's it.
There was a warning in the readme file about deleting the old version
before replacing it with the new one. I followed the warning, and it
works for me. I am on 10.4.1, however.

I followed the warning too, but it crashes on both, 10.3.9 and
Compiled and installed now on Tiger. I'll be on vacation for a week and
will try it on my Panther machine, but I'm sure several other folks will
have done so by then.
