Unable to find the cause; but there's ways around it: #1) Changing to "MirrorOrder: MasterFirst" (instead of MasterLast) seems to use more http:// and less ftp://, thus making the problem occur less seldom. or: #2) sudo apt-get install wget sudo nano /sw/etc/fink.conf add line "Do

Joining the thread, to say I have the problem, too: - PowerBook G4, has this (any ftp:// mirror download gets to 100% and stays there) - iMac G4, has this not (same wlan infrastructure) but I haven't fink selfupdate'd that for a while.. So, trying to find the reason, and staying tuned in c
