[Fink-users] ethereal or gtk+2

Hi I am trying to install 'ethereal'. i keep getting an erro message relating to gtk+2. I had previously installed The Gimp with no problems. I have updated Fink and move my other version of teh Gimp to trash with no success . Can someone help as I get the following error message: The following

Hi, I am compiling one of our applications on my Mac and encounter weird things concerning dyld library versions, at the moment with libpng.3.dylib in particular. When I try to execute my application it says libpng provides version 3 whereas version 16 is expected. As output I get: zoe:/trunk

[Fink-users] pyobjc-py24 build problem (unstable sources)

Hi, I'm trying to compile pyobjc-py24, using the unstable repositories. I've run fink selfupdate but the error remains. I have uploaded a full log of the build process at 'http://cleanstick.net/jon/pyobjc-py24-buildlog.txt'. I'm not sure this is the pertinent error, but the end of the build log

I'm having problems compiling and/or running several packages, including vim, gconf2, and gimp2, because they are looking for a library called libXfixes.3.dylib in /usr/X11R6/lib.Is this library provided by another fink package, or should it be installed with Apple's X11 stuff?I'm running the 10.4
