Hi, Thanks for the report. The problem was that the package was checking the /usr/bin/gcc build number, and this doesn't exist when /usr/bin/gcc is clang. A version which should build for you on 10.8 (it worked for me on 10.9) should be available shortly via selfupdate. It's the same
