Fink 0.18.0 on Mac OS 10.3.2 with Apple's X11
Some time ago, I was able to build earlier versions of Evolution with
fink. I decided to try this again and I ran into some gnome library
confusion. Evolution requires many gnome packages and a configure for
gal199-1.99.10-4 fails about here:

Even if there's still dependency problems in evolution, you don't need
to mess around with PKG_CONFIG_PATH--I was able to install it by just
installing the pack

What user are you trying to start the daemon as? The default uid and
gid for sshd on OS X is 75. It looks like the user you are choosing to
start sshd as does not have perm
