I am unable to apply the -framework QuickTime fix as suggested; I
cannot find the line in the top-level Makefile to edit.

This got me past the configure script, but then I get errors during

Greetings,
Other than editing the 'ConfigureParams:' line in a .info file, is
there any other way to specify configuration parameters (that is,
options to ./configure) within fink?

Greetings,
I attempted 'fink install msttcorefonts' today. To fulfill
dependencies i chose to install freetype-hinting-shlibs. During
compilation of free-type-hinting-shlibs-1.3.1-8 i came across the
following errors:

Your output shows that you are building 1.3.1-8.
agreed.
The version 1.3.1-8 is in a file named "freetype-hinting.info"
without version number in the file name.

Why does svn et. al. depend upon apache2 (more specifically,
apache2-ssl, apache2-ssl-common apache2-ssl-dev, and
apache2-ssl-mpm-worker)?
Do I need apache2 (/sw/sbin/httpd) running for svn/svn-client to work?
Can I use apache (/usr/sbin/httpd) instead?
I noticed that with apache2 installed, I
I have a need for wxgtk version 2.4. Currently, the only wxgtk that

time there was a 2.4 version in unstable.
So, I am wondering if/how I can use fink to get wxgtk-2.4 for me?
Also, to satisfy my curiosity, why wasn't 2.4
