[Fink-users] fink-selfupdate can't unpack tarball

Fink is going crazy on me. On fink-selfupdate I'm getting "unpacking the tarball fink-09.11.tar.gz .failed" Fink update-all is giving many warnings of "Possible unterminated here-document" The reason I started updating is I replaced xtools with xfree86 and Grace gave the msg abt the motif

I just went back to gnuplot 3.7.1 from 3.8h because of the crazy command line editing in v 3.8h. Copy/paste in terminal would give the first letter of the string then delete wd finish the paste, characters entered on a line did not go to the left of the cursor - i couldn't figure it out. All is 'n

[Fink-users] minor grace question

Hi all, I just finished installing grace on 3 machines, all v10.1.3, all after updating Fink. FWIW, fink-install cannot find a file but apt-get install works. First try on my desktop G4/450 I got the msg abt mising a libdl.dylib, read in here how i needed to install fftw, did so, and grace works

[Fink-users] 10.1.2 breaks "Print"?

Hi All, I was happy to learn about the Print command - first time I tried it with OS10.1 I was able to print a ps file using an appletalk printer name, no problem. However today: [chem-dhcp-146:~/Documents] tom% Print -P PET keyes_reic.ps ERROR: Unable to print. Does anyone have any suggestions
