If you installed Apple's developer tools, then you do have gdb.
also:
man otool
man ktrace
man 1 dyld (useful env vars)

I have no gdb, strace, ldd ...
... which packages to install ?
... or do I have to use other tools ? (truss ? ..)
In fact I suspect that simply the compiled magicpoint
searches
