Dan, OK, I did that, but no luck. I still get the same error when compiling Gramps, and when trying to run it. I did notice though that when compiling pygtk2-py22 the pygtk2-py22-dev package does not get installed. I tried to recompile it by itself, and got some errors like this: gcc -DHAVE_
