Is there an issue with the threaded package and matlab? Am I right
in assuming that the threaded package runs faster?

I am running Mac OS X 10.2.2 and have installed XFree86 4.2.1.1, using
the installer provided by the nice people at XDarwin.org, which is
represented in Fink by the dummy package, system-xfree86 4.2.1.
As I mentioned in an earlier e-mail, 'selfupdate-cvs' followed by
