Hi Carlos,
First I've downloaded the .msi file and installed it.
As mentioned in my first mail, later I've downloaded the provider sources
and rebuild them using the build.bat file.
That resulted in a new .dll that I included in the project. But the error
remains the same...

It seems I'm using the wrong framework to do the rebuild :
This is the SDK I used :
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727.
I guess this is the normal version .
Could it be it has to be this one
C:\Program Files\Microsoft.NET\SDK\CompactFramework\v2.0\WindowsCE

Yes, the build was succesful after altering the build file for the correct
SDK.
