thanks for the fast reply, i tried to target 3.5 with NET_35; (ENTITY_FRAMEWORK;) (TRACE;) but it doesn't compile. for example FirebirdSql.Data.Services.FbTrace has a default parameter in the method void DoSimpleAction(int action, int? sessionID = null) that is supported only by 4.0 compiler.
