Hi ! I also had problems like you describe. I've tried everything I could find on the .net about it but to no avail. Finally I gave up and are now using VS2005 for the data layer where I'm using strongly typed datasets and VS2008 for everything else. Best wishes Kai Bohli Norway -Origina
