[Fish-users] gentoo global environment variables

Hi, I have been using fish for some time now and I must say its an excellent shell esp. for interactive purposes. However, I am facing a little problem using fish on my gentoo box. Has anybody been able to import the global environment variables in the gentoo present in /etc/profile.env or /etc/
