I bought a 2007 F350 long box dually crew cab. I love it! It slows gears
down the transmission when you touch the brakes on a downhill. Feels much
safer than my 1994 F250 long box regular cab. Very comfy interior.

Vanessa, get a club cab truck and a camper shell. Kids in the back seat,
dogs in the truck. With the camper shell the dogs will stay dry and warm, and
you'll have all the towing power you need.

Ford may have fixed their complaints, so I would not discount them
completely. We have a friend who hauls horses and cattle up and down an
unbelievably steep long hill...daily. Their Ford with the automatic
transmission down shifting is doing
