I wish I'd read your E-mail on the waterers earlier. We kept having our
outside one freeze up on us. They are insulated to the hilt but nothing
worked on those sub-zero days and nights. Finally, we put the heat tape in
and they haven't frozen

We use the Nelson waterers for all our horses, in all pastures and paddocks.
The problems are easily defined.
1. The heater thermostat controls fail and you do not know it until the
