Hmm. I don't know what you guys are talking about. I am also using a 2.2 ghz duo core laptop, and it's been plenty fast for me. Perhaps it helps that I have 4 GB of ram? Not sure. But I really enjoy the upgrade--things feel a lot more efficient and consistent. Thanks, Jonathan Wing Graphic

I appreciate the response, and I recognize what you say as true. One of the things I see for this alignment tool as really useful is when you want to make an image fit inside of a certain 'viewable area' and make it centered in that area, like making a thumbnail get bigger for a slideshow thing

Yes you can do that and that will solve your problem of no mouseover on the grey areas. I was able to drag the scroll pane button and let go off stage and it lost focus. Is that what you mean by the thumb? Im on a MAC Powerbook G4 using Safari 4. You could use a track mouse _x and _y script
