You are right about the "_root.star_mc" thing. I think it's more like
_root["star_mc"]. If you add your 2nd movie clip but not naming it as
"star_mc" I'm sure " mc._x = 100" will not work.

I worked with zinc for a while, but I didn't have the absolute or
relative path problem at all. My Problem was more like Ben stated, the
document was not accurate especially the return object type.

I have a third suggestion.
You don't need to set the button enabled=false, instead you create
your own parameter of tracking the status. when the button is
"disabled", just set the useHandCursor to false.
onRollOver
if(btnEnabled) showRollOverEffect
else showToolTip
onRelease
if(btnEnabled) doR
why not you try it in DOS commands first. You need to check what kind
of parameters the application supports . If the application does
support a parameter like "-o filename", then you can write a bat file
and use fscommand to call it.

Interesting question!
I've tried a bit.
class MyMc extends MovieClip{
public function MyMc(){
trace("I'm on!");
}
public function set _xscale(xs){
super(xs);
_root.doBitmap(this);
}
public function set _yscal

Try to use some traffic monitoring software to see what is your flash loading.

There's no special effect or complicated streaming from FMS. I

Is there anyway to get file details like FPS, BG Color and such from a SWF?

TIA for any ideas..
yup, you are correct. No point of setting two ranges, plus 1 or minus
1 is good enough. Thanks.

return Math.round(Math.random()*(max-min))+min;
