[flexcoders] scale9grid question

I am working with Flex 3, and import a movieclip symbol from a SWF. The symbol is rectangular and has scale9 grid enabled because it has rounded corners. Inside the area of the grid where objects resize both horizontally and vertically, I placed another symbol. But I do not want this 2nd symb

scale9grid only works in clips that only contain vector shapes...so you can't have sub-movieclips or sprites. i don't really know your requirements but one solution would be to create a container clip, insert both clips as children of that one and manage both that way. On Fri, Aug 12, 2011 at 12:5
