Just did a quick test using my Agilent 4402 Analyzer & commercial 0.1 to 1.0 GHz Log Periodic Test Antenna to sniff the air while I transmitted. With the analyzer in peak hold mode, sending CW dashes after calibrating Tx output with TEST to 1500 W, the analyzer displayed the peak of the RF envelop

Hi All, This simple sentence from Larry, W0DZ solved my problem. I just made the same mistake.  Make sure you use two COM ports -- one for the SDR ,one for HRD.  The vCOM driver will connect them to each other. 73 - José
