Tom, I would think that the MC-60 would work well in the 500 Ohm setting.  You should be able to use it easily by plugging it directly into the D44.  You can also run it through the front panel of the SDR-1000 if you want to pick up PTT on the same cable. 73, Gerald -Original Message-
